Act FAST, there are only 6 of these events available.

Right now I am playing in the Vikings' Amateur Tour. This gives me a chance to develop my game. I
have not won an event yet, but I feel I am close. Here is the link that will direct you to the next
tournament. Mike Janis has been helping pool players for many years.

Who is playing this weekend?
I will be leaving Erving MA on Thursday to play in
the Viking event in Winchester VA on October 17 -
18th. After that I am going over to the US Open for
a couple of days. I am there to meet a few people.
Then I will go to the Columbus OH Viking
tournament and then to Nashville TN for five days.
Hopefully I will arrive in Dawsonville GA on the first
to take procession of my new condo.

I hope you will consider the Viking Tour. You will
see me in Virginia next month. Let’s make plans to
meet in the finals. Check here to fine the date and
time for our match.

When I traveled through PA I ran into serious snow
storm and while I am always excited about the first
snow I wasn't sure how Big Blue would handle it. So
I checked into a motel and rested while the storm
raged outside.

I pulled into VA the next afternoon so now i am
ready to compete. Should be fun.

Let's play next month
David and I have been working hard on his game for
this special appearance in the US Open Amateur
Tournament to be held in November in Tampa Bay
Florida. But first, he must win the qualifier in Huntsville
Alabama.

David did win the event by going through the tough field
without a lose. His record, on the way to first place and
a trip to Tampa was  7-1 7-0  7-1 7-2 11-7.

When David left Birmingham he was running balls with
the skills of a world class player. This has been his
dream to win the US Open Amateur twice. He did win
the tournament about fifteen years ago and now he is
back on the trail.

I worked with David right after his big US Open Amateur
win and knew that here was a special player. Not only
are his skill well defined but he is a first class
gentlemen. Now he is on the comeback trail and ready
to take his place in this great sport as a tough
competitor who knows how to win.
It has been hard for me to get my
game back. I am working all the
time with this goal in mind but
things continue to get in the way.
I need to put this training aside
as I have to go up to New England
to set up my shipping company.
This will only take a couple of
weeks but it is a side trip from my
goals.
I have  few things to do on
the road for the rest of the month
and then I will settle into my new
home in November. It will be nice
to consistently work through The
Masters program with my fellow
students. I am going to play in
three tournaments for the rest of
the month.
Mike Houpert Joins our tournament group
I worked with Mike in NY and helped him
recapture his game. He is ready now to
compete in tourna- ments and is scheduled
to play in Buffalo next week on the Jose tour.
I will let you know how he does. Soon we are
going to get together, Mike, David and I and
compete in a tournament of our choice. I look
forward to that experience
