| Tough times for our boy Tiger Woods. It is amazing how easy it is to get out of trouble. All you need to do is tell the truth. Simple truth will set you free. If Tiger stands up and says, "looks guys, I am sorry. I am a sex addict and I just could not help myself. This whole thing is going to cost me a hundred million dollars and maybe my family. I am sorry. I am going to get some help and get through this thing. I don't ask for your understanding, I only ask for your prayers". Tiger is back in good standing with us because we are a forgiving country. Can this mighty warrior confess? That is his only chance. A person needs to admit he is powerless over sex and that his life has become unmanageable. It takes a tough man to do that. He has to go further and state that God can and will restore him to sanity. Talk about insane, the price tag for that roll in the hey was enormous. After the first encounter it was insanity to pursue it from there. And he did. Time and time again. He was an out of control train wreck waiting to happen. He not only lost millions but he may have thrown away his chance to break the record held by Jack Nicklaus for winning majors. His only chance is to own up and admit the exact nature of his disease. (addiction) Then he needs to find a Higher Power who will protect him from his addiction. He needs to turn that will to run around over to a Power Greater than himself. If he could have stopped it, he would have done so after the first encounter. Simply put, he was out of control. What a lonely man he must have been in that world of insanity all by himself. I do hope he pulls himself together. I do hope he finds the will to surrender to a Higher Power. As it says in one of the books I read, "he who gives up his life will save his life." All of this turmoil will end when he speaks the truth for the truth will set him free. |
