| Joe Amerando took got the runner up spot for the second straight time. He went hill hill with Mike but just could not get that important shot at the nine ball. Joe is headed out to Vegas after The Main Event to compete in the BCA Nationals. |
This past Main Event in February featured a real nice group from around the country. Steve Rubin, an incredible Monk Master instructor was so helpful to some
of the students who had trouble with their stance and alignment. He is the best. We went through the Four Strokes along with Cue Ball Speed and each student
was able to hit the shots.
Frankie Dow came in from Tulsa Oklahoma and took all the money out of our tournaments. We play a small tournament at the end of the session and Frankie
was able win both events. Frankie is a tenth degree Chinese boxer instructor and during our workshop he presented a tenth degree to his friend and student. So
you don't mess around with Frankie.
John came down from Boston and was able to beat me out of a dinner. He is a fine player who plans to train with us in the future. I know he will be tough to deal
with now that he has the strokes down pat.

remarkable seven year old I have ever known. He hung in there with the rest
of the group for five long tough days.
